Primary machine in LA, secondary in NY. Running E.R. NY changes time and just after the network drops out for 5 minutes and E.R. loses connection. Network comes back on, E.R. re-establishes connection... What happens? Do I get times differ by more than 3600 seconds error possible eventual stalling of primary or did N.Y. E.R. manage to refresh it's time upon re-connection ??? Workaround probably being bounce N.Y. secondary.
