Make sure that you have the INFORMIXDIR variable set in the System environment and that $INFORMIXDIR\\bin is in your path. If you plan on using ODBC with your web server or some other process that runs under the system account, you will also want to copy the Registry key from: $HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Informix\\Environment to: $HKEY_USERS\\.DEFAULT\\Software\\Informix\\Environment You will most likely need to create the key in the registry for the .Default user.
