Have you seen ER problems between 10.0 and 9.4?

Greetings! As part of a server migration, I'm going to need to run Enterprise Replication between a 10.0 and 9.4 for a few weeks. The ER manual seems to suggest I'd have no problems, as long as the servers are reporting their versions accurately. Any warning signs from my fellow DBA's before I head down this path? Thanks in advance. DT -- Dave Thacker, Senior Systems Administrator Omni Hotels Reservation Center V: 402.952.6535 F: 402-334-8013 M: 402-981-4613 (24/7)
I have used ER with IDS10 and 9.3, 9.4 (and even with IDS 9.21, caution - need to export a imp. variable with IDS 921). I have no recollection of any specific issue, however, not sure which version, I had to setup smart dbspace and modify ONCONFIG (CDR variable) to start working ER. Cheers. ----- Original Message ---- From: Dave Thacker <dthacker@omnihotels.com> To: ids@iiug.org Sent: Tuesday, January 9, 2007 12:47:59 PM Subject: Have you seen ER problems between 10.0 and 9.4? We did the same thing last year and ran into problems replicating between 10 and 9.40. I'm not sure if this is fixed in the latest version of 10, but we had to set CDRSITES_10x="940cdrids" and restart the v10 servers. Google Bug 176131 or Case 69681,49R. I would also check the release notes of the version 10 server, it will give more detail about the CDRSITES_10x environment variable.
