Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Bernhard Gramberg asked for an authoritative guide to using PHP with Apache and IDS 9.40.UC2 on SuSE 9.3. Thomas Ronayne said PHP must be compiled with --with-informix and to consult the Informix section of the PHP manual. Pavel Kucera posted a link, and rosario annino twice pointed to an IBM support article from 2005-02-24 on installing and configuring PHP for IDS.

Is there any actual paper (best from IBM) , how
to use PHP with apache. There must be
some compiling, the papers I read till
now, all from single private people, sounds complicated.
Is there any One-buttom-Entry to have Informix with Apache/PHP
Surrounding
- Apache
- Informix IDS 9.40UC2
- Suse 9.3

I don't know of a paper, but you do need to compile PHP with
"--with-informix" as one of the options to the configure utility. After
that, refer to the Informix section of the PHP manual.
