Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Kate (kjuliff) needed a 32-bit Informix ODBC driver for IDS 10 on Red Hat so that unixODBC could be 32-bit. A poster said it is included with the engine package and downloadable from IBM. Art S. Kagel said the ODBC libraries come with the free CSDK and Informix Connect, from IIUG or IBM. Sheshnarayan Agrawal pointed to IBM's CSDK download page with about 80 versions. Kate was still unsure which files she needed.

Although I have read the IBM documentation I cannot find what 32 bit
ODBC driver is available for IDS 10.
I need the 32 bit version as, though IDS is 64 bit, I need my unixODBC
to be 32 bit (reason legacy C/ISAM files)
I am running redhat linux enterprise.
Thanks,
Kate
It is included with the engine in the same package. It is also available
for download from IBM.

Kate, the Informix ODBC libraries are included with the CSDK and Informix
Connect which are both free. You can get a recent version from the IIUG web
site (www.iiug.org) in the members section (membership is free you just have
to register) and you can get the latest from IBM directly. If you do not
need support CSDK and IConnect are free. Support is extra except for
installation help.

OK. But I can't work out which files I need. I can't find any link to
them or any instructions.
There is another link
http://www-306.ibm.com/software/data/informix/tools/csdk/ ...you will
see "Informix CSDK downloads" at the bottom right side of this link. From
there onwards you just need to browse to get the version which you are
looking for ...at this point I can see there are total 80 different
versions/platforms of CSDK available on this link.
Thanks
