My experience and feed backs shows that the overhead for managing multiprocessor set up will not be compensated by the additional cpu ( the 2nd one ). Set up multiprocessor only when the machine have more than 2 processors. This may not be a solution for your current problem, still I recommend it. -- Have a nice day Felix K.
