Hi Jakkrit, At a previous job I used HACMP on an IBM P5 or P6 server with a 9.x version of Inforimx.? It took a consultant over a week to set up the HACMP and then several follow up visits and phone calls.? After the HACMP was working it worked great.? It would have taken a lot less time and a lot easier to have set up Informix HDR.?? Although it is working ok, our experience is that the cluster is a touchy mechanism and takes a lot of work to get it working. My personal opinion is that trying to use a cluster environment almost always causes more problems than it solves.
