shared memory not initialized for INFORMIXSERVER

canot solve the problem, need your help: system: DEC 2100/Digital UNIX 4.0D/IDS 7.30.fc4 NIS server problem: when i signed on my local machine (AlaphaStation/UNIX4.0D) which is a NIS client of the SERVER, I canot run onmonitor successfully. The error is: shared memory not initialized for INFORMIXSERVER XXXX I checked the env, it likes fine. if I telnet to the server, everything works fine.
