So often we see people speak on behalf of the vendor. It would be good to hear from the actual engineers who work on the data base engine(s) and state specifically, exactly what the case is with the product, rather than trivia and rumor--or even independent evaluations that I have in front of me. None of this is gospel unless somebody can show me the proof in the engine source code. And this doesn't mean I doubt an academic/educational viewpoint either, but cold, hard, verifiable facts are the only thing that really matters...
