RE: OnBar/DLT (was Logical Logs to Disk?)

What is 'onbar' and where do I get it, if I need it? I run ontape with I-7.1
under Digital UNIX. Have I been hiding in the woods too long? Please respond

I've seen several things in the Deja News archives that mention using onbar
with a storage manager, specifically HP Omniback. I'm getting ready to
implement that at my site, but have seen nothing specific. Beyond what the
manuals say, is there anything from the folks that have done this before
that
might qualify as an entry in the FAQ?
Thanks,
