How to stop sqlexecd?

Hi!
Sorry for my question, but I can't find an answer in manuals.
I use SE 7.24UC5 for Linux.
How do I stop sqlexecd ?
"Do not kill the database processes with the UNIX kill -9 command"
manual says.
I need something like "onmode -ky" in IDS.
Thank you for attention.

Ahh, well, sqlexecd is not a database process! The sqlexec tasks are, but
the sqlexecd only listens for connection requests and launches an sqlexec
so it does not connect to the database at all. It is safe to kill -9 the
sqlexecd.

There is nothing.

I'm glad you tried the manuals, but (as you found) the answer isn't
in there.
Actually, sqlexecd doesn't access the database itself; it is a network
daemon which sits around waiting for process to connect to it, and it
then forks off a new process which execs the actual database process,
sqlexec. You should avoid killing sqlexec if at all possible; you
could collect uncommitted transactions if you do. But killing sqlexecd
is harmless. Most people don't bother, though. It dies when the
machine is turned off, at that's good enough for most people. You have
to grope for the relevant process ID in the ps output, which can be
tricky if you have more than one sqlexecd running, so it is more
trouble than it is worth.
