I have IDS7.22 UC2 installed on SCO ODT5.0.5, I have a table named
demo, I can do following in dbaccess:
select * from demo; (SUCCESS)
select count(*) from demo;(SUCCESS)
unload to "/tmp/demo" select * from demo;( It failed and would never
end!!, finally my disk was full).
I used the follow tool to check my database(demodb):
oncheck -ccrce (OK with on error)
oncheck -cI demodb:demo (OK with no error)
oncheck -cD demodb:demo (OK with no error)
Please help me ,what is the problem?

Before you buy.
how many rows in the table?
how big is a row?
how big is /tmp file system?
Just selecting the data to screen would not cause the file system to fill,
fairly obviously :) did you view the entire tables content on screen?
selecting count(*)
from the table reads the system tables rather than your table so this is a
trivial query.
