YIKES!!! Are you kidding? An _Informix_ rep told you this? All I've been hearing (and reading) is that NewEra is such a much more advanced product that it is not even fair to compare it to PowerBuilder. Also, when I remarked to my Informix sales rep that NewEra sounded a bit expensive to me, she again explained to me that it is a whole lot of product, and that I simply can not compare it to first-generation GUI development tools (such as PowerBuilder). I hope the above is a mis-quote of Informix personnel. I would hate to think that an actual Informix employee said this (egad, unless there is some truth in it).
