Problem running bcheck under Solaris

Hi, I have recently upgraded 2 Sun server's from Solaris 2.6 to Solaris 8. We run some C-ISAM database apps on these servers, and I restored the entire directory structure of these apps after the upgrade. On the first machine, I installed the full Solaris distribution, and the C-ISAM apps and utilities seem to work fine. On the second machine, I installed the core OS packages and a few other packages only. On this machine bcheck does not work - it simly replies with "Killed", and no other error message. I am assuming there is perhaps a package or library I need to install to get this working correctly. If anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate the help. Thanks Sean Evans
Have a look at the truss output - it might point you in the right direction Sean Evans wrote: > > Hi, I have recently upgraded 2 Sun server's from Solaris 2.6 to > Solaris 8. Also you could 'truss bcheck ... ' on both and compare them. -- Andrew Lennard andy@kontron.demon.co.uk
