Hi,
errno 5 is I/O error, and with that IDS usually is correct.
( You can cross check this with a system utility like "dd",
letting it read all pages of the chunk, but usually it will
show the same problem.)
That means you have to fix the I/O problem first, by
getting a new hard disk, controller, whatever ...
This I cannot tell from the information available. You
need to do some more analysis on the system/hardware
level.
After that you can restore. That will need to be a previous
backup of course, one that was done without (i.e. before) the
I/O error problem. If the affected chunk does not belong to
a critical dbspace, then you probably can do a warm restore
of just that dbspace with chunk #28 - assuming you also
back up the logical logs. (Without logical log backup you
will have to do a full (cold) restore of everything.)
