Problem with deamon on SE 7.1

Hello Got problem with the database deamon in the INFORMIXDIR, after a power failure I can't access the database "The database engine program cannot be accessed." error code 25512. The deamon starts but when I'm trying to access the database trought dbaccess the error message occurs. What does error code 25512 means? Why can't I access the database? I'm using INFORMIX SE 7.1 Thanks Johan Andersson
