IIUG Charter Ratification Begins!!

11.1.1996 Greetings again from the International Informix Users Group (IIUG)! This brief message is to inform all IIUG members of the beginning of the IIUG Charter and Bylaw approval and ratification process. The proposed Charter was announced at the Informix Worldwide Users Conference this past July where it received preliminary approval from the Informix User Group Leadership Council and those members attending the IIUG general meeting. The document has undergone legal review as requested and can now be reviewed by browsing to http://www.iiug.org/iiug/charter.html The ratification process is explained in detail at http://www.iiug.org/iiug/approval.html In the next week or so, all members of the IIUG should start receiving a letter with this information as well as an opportunity to update the membership information we have on file for them.
