Assert Failure and onstat

Has anyone using Informix 7.22 UC1 seen assert failures while running onstat -z? We have had an assert failure several times which seems to be related to the onstat -z command. Both assert failures occured while running a script which is in a 60 second loop doing an onstat -p followed by onstat -z. Informix has, so far, not been able to tell us much.
