Yes it might be something related to this if it happens when the user hits a functionkey or the ESC key (and that is the ACCEPT key). From your explanation it looks like it happens while a new screen is drawn (in the middle of the drawing). If that is the case: What kind of terminal server are you using? If it's a card in the PC with RS232 connections to each terminal it is very unlikely that it is the terminal server. If you are using a TCP/IP based terminal server (connected to an ethernet) it may be your TCP/IP setup. You may try netstat -a to see how many failures you have had. If there are any at all you may need to do something with your TCP/IP setup. Also what version of the OS do you have? If it's 5.0.0 you must make sure you have installed all the patches. You must be at 5.0.0d and as far as I remember you need something called net100 and possibly some others. Before we installed these pathces on a machine we had your problem extensively using terminal emulators on PC's over TCP/IP. If it's 5.0.2 there is another set of patches that I don't know. There is a list of them at ftp.sco.com for each of these versions, and the patches are also available there. If this doesn't help and you get no better answer your best bet is probably to ask this question in comp.unix.sco.misc. Remember to state exactly the version of the OS, what patches you have applied, the manufacturer and exact model name of your terminal server and what you have done to try to solve the problem. (If you aren't exact on these the people in that newsgroup tend to not bother at all with your post - understandably.) Please post again when you have found the solution. So many forget to do that!
