Deleting Question

We're doing mass-deletes from a table. The problem is it's taking a long time to run. One reason for this might be that Informix is reindexing after each delete. Is there a way to turn the automatic reindexing on or off on the fly? Thanks, Joseph jkormann@rfbd.org / jkormann@trenton.edu
