Problem with upper/lower function

Hi, I'm having a problem with the lower and upper functions on portuguese character. I have a column in table with the type nvarchar and a value "INDÚSTRIA - Indústria" When i execute the lower function the result is: "indÚstria - indústria" but the expected result was "indústria - indústria" the upper is the same problem, the result is: "INDÚSTRIA - INDúSTRIA" and expected result was "INDÚSTRIA - INDÚSTRIA". So it's not converting the national chars. Is this a bug? Is there any workaround? I'm using IDS 10(UC4 i386/Linux) and IDS 10 (FC1 Itanium/Linux) Regards. -- Luís Medalhas http://www.moredata.pt
Hello, What data types are involved? Nchar? What are exactly client_locale and db_locale settings?
