Re: Reserved Words

Whilst I hate to disagree with Andy, I would like to point out that even though INFORMIX have tried to get rid of reserved words in the latest releases there are still quite a few. Some of them only come to light if you develop in RDS and then compile through the C compiled version. Generally my advice is to use meaningful names avoiding the obvious ones and replacing NAME by NAM, TEXT by TXT, DATE by DAT, TIME by TIM, etc. It's still not foolproof, but it does seem to help.
