CR-LF in char/varchar column
It seems that when I pass an insert SQL into a char or varchar
column and the column value has Carriage Return Line Feed,
Informix returns a -282 error
INSERT INTO t1 (col1) VALUES ('Hi,This is a test of CR-LF on Informix
Sunil')
# ^
# 282: Found a quote for which there is no matching quote.
#
Works fine on other databases. Any work around ?
Informix 7.20 OWS, ESQL/C 7.20
We are actually using Roguewave db access library and passing straight
SQL using their sqlExecute.
