Dbspace process hangs onbar

We run in on a HP box which is clustered. Also,we run 2 engines on the server. Sporadically our full level 0 backups hang, with 1 dbspace to complete. It's never the same dbspace. There aren't any errors that jump out. I have the BAR_MAX_BACKUP using all 6 streams that we are set up to use. We also use Legato as our Storage Manager. Has anyone run across this problem?
