Informix JDBC Driver 408 errors

I'm shooting blanks, so I thought I'd ask here: I'm getting occasional 408 errors using Informix's JDBC Driver, and I was wondering if anyone else has had similar problems with this driver. I don't really suspect the driver is at fault, but when it occurs I can use an ODBC driver against the same database with no problem, so I'm suspecting the JDBC driver might simply be more susceptible to some kind of data communication problem that isn't affecting the more robust ODBC driver. But that's speculation on my part. Tests on the leased line between routers involved in the communication have should the line to be somewhat "dirty". If anyone can think of anything I'd be much appreciative. Thanks, Dan -- Daniel Kirkdorffer Sr. Consultant, Syllogistics, LLC. It may well be the driver. I know of silent bugs in the Informix driver. Would you consider trying a third-party JDBC driver for Informix?
