I have problem in a working with sequence on IDS IDS-9.40.HC4-HPUX-32 on HPUX
11
and IDS 9.40.UC2 on linux.
I use sequence for generating unique keys for some tables. In some cases
nextval for sequences have set to some previous used number. For example 21,
22, 23, 24, 21, 22, ...
All sequences was created without any CICLE clause.
F.E.: CREATE SEQUENCE error_id CACHE 100;
In all cases when sequnece have set to previous number more than one time, it
started from the same number.
Can this behaviour relate to dbimport/dbexport on the database?
Is it a fixed bag?

I seem that I understood.
Do not use ALTER SEQUENCE RESTART WITH ... statement. Dbimport use this syntax
to set initial value for sequences. After migrating database using
dbexport/dbimport it's required to recreate sequences (drop/create start
with..).
