Ok, sorry to post this but I am for one getting sick and tired of these recruiters posting non Informix bs to c.d.i As well as the ocassional get rich quick scheme. In the last 24 hours, at least on this server, there were several postings for positions which first had nothing to do with Informix, and second, they were spammed to several newsgroups. Now I know that there has been some discussion about limiting the postings on job offers. As a consultant, I am always interested in finding out about possible jobs, however, I can read misc.jobs.offered or misc.contracts.offered too! I don't need to read it here. What I am asking for, it an c.d.i faq limiting the postings to Informix product and technical information. (Of course since there are those who are too lazy to read m.j.o or m.c.o, I'm sure we can admend this to include positions for informix contracts only. The reason that we need the FAQ, is so that when we, (Billy and myself, along with some others.), complain to ISPs about their incorrect postings and spams, we have grounds to complain. Ignorance of the law is no excuse! Since there is the IIUG, I recommend that they put something together, or at least ratify it. (After all, they are our peers, which were nominated and elected at the last conference.) -Mikey BTW, please DO NOT e-mail me for the next 24 hours! I lost my root volume group on my main server and since I am just a lowly consultant, I can't afford 4 hour support and have to live with 24 hour support. You're mail will be forwarded to my backup mail server, but I won't have time to read it until I get back on line.
