There have been a number of articles recently regarding data import and export with Informix Databases, and I would like to take this opportunity to let netters know about DbToolbox. This product will import/export delimited, fixed format, and binary data (floats, ints, packed decimal, etc) into Informix SE and Online Engines. The facilities include picture string masking of data, date conversions, table lookup/replacement, min/max control, EBCDIC conversion, default settings, etc, etc. There is record editor, file editor, import/export from tape, and data record filter facility (exclude/include import records based on conditions). There are also tools that repair corrupted indexes, and compress data tables on Standard Engine databases. The software runs on 386 Unix, Xenix, Sun Sparcstions, Sequent Symmetry, Motorola 68000, 3B2, and Unisys platforms. It has character mode and X-Window (Motif) user interfaces (X-Window only on 386 and Sun). We have a special introductory offer until the end of June of $200.00 for the product. You can reach us at Aepix Software PO Box 29786 Dallas, TX 75229 (214) 357-0408 (214) 357-0369 (FAX)
