Update to utils2_ak
Posted in 2013
Folks:
There is a new release of utils2_ak which includes a new myschema feature
and a new utility - dbmove.ec. The update also include a couple of minor
bug fixes.
The new --dependency-order option in myschema will order tables such that
dependent tables follow the table(s) upon which they depend.
Dbmove.ec is used like dbcopy.ec, however, it uses a different algorithm so
it is not affected by the recent bug in the CSDK that prevents dbcopy from
handling lvarchar type columns. Also, dbcopy cannot correctly copy tables
with more than one BYTE or TEXT column nor does it handle BLOB or CLOB
types. Dbmove can do both.
FYI: As of v12.10.xC2 dbschema still hangs processing some external table
definitions. Myschema does not suffer from this problem.
