Dbcopy will copy from one server to another at high speed even if the logging modes of the two databases are incompatible. The utility ul.ec will create a binary unload of the results of a select statement and can reload the result. Both need to be compiled and run in a 7.xx environment but you can give the servername of the 5.xx instance and it will work just fine. Art S. Kagel
