Headhunters on the Net

Headhunters on the Net I don't mind seeing the jobs listings. They usually have a subject line which I can use to filter if I wish. I prefer primary listings (like the recent BDM entry) over headhunter entries, though. While I am not currently *seeking*, it can't hurt to look, and knowledge of the job market is always useful. It can have a profound impact on one's attitude about the present job! Count this as an "Aye". BTW, I've often thought that any job that has to be advertised to be filled is probably not worth having, anyway. Any programmer is likely to "have a buddy" whose resume the management might consider. The larger the shop, and the more prominent the ad (ie; Computerworld) the worse off the job environment. This is why 80% of the jobs available are not advertised. _____________________________________________________ /| Clem Akins Standard Disclaimers Apply | || Reynolds Metals Co.
