Hi, I'm running an Informix Dynamic Server 7.3. under HP-UX-10.20. What I would like now to do is: - setting up a Sun Solaris work station as a client. What I already did: - I downloaded the Client SDK 2.3 for Sun Solaris The problem: - the application which uses the client displays the message "can't establish connection to server" Environment variable INFORMIXDIR has already been set. The sqlhosts file and the services I need exist. I configured a HPUX work station as client using ICONNECt it works well. Do I need ICONNECT for Sun Solaris, too (an employee of Informix told us to use CSDK instead)? How to setup the client using CSDK?
