Er... I realize now that you must defer quit in the main routine and cannot switch it back on. :^< Thanks to all who responded to my request for HP termcaps. I'm still looking for one that supports Informix line drawing char set well. ...And report generator suggestions. And what's the deal with flat file I/O? I presume you must use the standard C library routines? Suggestions for managing 4GL code size? Strategies for managing code structure for large-scale programs? I-4GL seems to encourage global variables, which I hate. Keep in mind that I've only been using the product (and Unix, for that matter) for a few weeks, but there sure are some frustrating quirks to the language. (Since I have just expressed a personal opinion, I issue "standard" disclaimer: my opinion only. I do like Informix.) Thanks...
