newera file selection box

Hi all, I hope someone out there has run into this problem already. I want to have a file selection box to read in text files. I thought this would be a trivial task with a built in function. What I am trying to do is easy to describe. If you bring up newera and then the windowpainter. In the windowpainter go to the "File" menu and select "Open" The box that comes up allows you to specify a file. This is what I would like to do. I have seen other databases that had it built in, so I assumed Informix had it as a built in also. If any body knows how to call it, if it is a built in, or some ideas or code in the public domain to do it I'd appriciate hearing from you.
