Not a technical fault report but a request for help: the poster wanted someone to write complete Informix c4GL programs to run against an SE database, saying he would supply the logic and table details but wasn't a programmer himself. He asked whether anyone had experience with informixguru.com or knew other firms specialising in 4GL development. Replies only suggested IBM's own services (with a joke about consultancy day rates) and asked about his location (Michigan; he said remote work with emailed source was fine). No recommendation or resolution is recorded.

I need to have some Informix c4gl programs written that would be run
against an SE database. Doing a Google search I found
http://www.informixguru.com/ Has anyone used them? Are there any other
companies that specialize in 4GL development?
How about IBM?
I am failry sure they'll have some 4GL specialists

I hadn't thought about them. I guess I didn't know they offered that
service. I don't just need some help programming 4GL I need someone
who will write a complete program for me. I'll supply the logic and
tables that need to be queried/updated, but I'm not a programmer.

Some of them may cost less than $5000 a day.

I wouldn't need someone onsite, all the work could be done remotely. I
would just need the source code emailed to me and I could compile it.
