Newbie question: Informix SE on Linux

I just installed Informix SE on Redhat Linux 5.1, and created the $INFORMIXDIR/etc/sqlhosts file that contains one entry: demo_se seipcpip localhost sqlexec I set $INFORMIXSERVER to demo_se, and ran the dbaccessdemo7 program according to the manual, but got the error message: Creating stores7 database .... 25591: Transport control received an invalid connection address. Error in line 1Near character position 1 The error message manual says it means there are invalid hostname and servicename entries in the sqlhosts file. But this is a local connection, and the DBA manual says hostname and servicename don't matter for local unnamed pipe connections. What could have gone wrong? -Yun
