Re: SAme Aps on 2 Servers, different performance, help!

Hi, Looking at the memory of the 2 machines I'm not surprised at the better performance on Server 1. You also have several other configuration differences between the two machines. The NUMAIOVPS is 8 on server 1 and 3 on Server 2. Is this because you have more disks allocated to Online on Server 1? It also appears that you are suing more CPU's on Server 1. Look at your NETTYPE settings. Also, BUFFERS are not equal, this is probably because of the memory differences of the machines. Bottom line is: You need to compare apple to apples. These machines don't appear to be equipped/configured equally. -Bill } } } } Hi Net, } I have a very confusing situation regarding to performance for } two similar Database. } } Server 1: } HP-UX A.09.04 U 9000/887 } INFORMIX-OnLine Version 7.12.UC1X8 } 768 MB memory } } Server 2: } HP-UX B.10.01 U 9000/829 } INFORMIX-OnLine Version 7.13.UC1 } 384 MB memory } } } Both have the same APs running.
