Hi,
I want to unload data to a flat file through onpload tool like unload command
output. I mean a file like this :
100|Arnold|CA|
101|Donald|US|
or something like this. Can anyone help me?
I created a job and could unload data, but unload file has another structure.
Regards
Ali
Hi,
the format that you want is called the "delimited format".
Please check the documentation for this term. It
should be described how to do this with HPL/onpload.

you can do:
unload from "filename.unl" DELIMITER "|"
select column from tablename
you can use dbload to load the data. make sure to set the DB in "No logging"
mode (onblog) before loading.
