Is your application "2000 aware"?

The sales staff keep getting asked if our application is "2000" aware. They of course say "yes" and then ask us the same question. I can justify an answer of "yes" by explaining that dates are stored with century internally and it is a user interface issue. We can certainly expand the forms to allow mm/dd/yyyy input rather than mm/dd/yy. I have read about the new environment variable that will allow us to control the defaulting of century for 2 digit year entry. This is the solution I would rather hold out for. Can anyone tell me when this will be (was?) available? The issue is not if will we be ready by the year 2000. The issue is if we ready to store years > 2000 now (or at least soon). -Greg (gregg@medcmp.com)
