Thanks for reply. There is no transaction log in both servers. I created a stored procedure and a update trigger. The stored procedure will send a unix mail using SYSTEM command upon update happens. My problem is I can't update server-2 from server-1, and execute the store procedure. the error number is 668 and -255. thanks
