Are your UNIX servers "thrusting" each other ? If you want to connect from online2 to online3, online2 has to be trusted by online3. Put an entry online2 in the file /etc/hosts.equiv of online3. Make sure that online2 has entry in the file /etc/hosts. That should do the trick. Connections from online3 to online2 : same thing, other way arround. If you want to do the same thing as user root you'll also have the create a .rhosts file in the root directory, containing the same entries as /etc/hosts.equiv. Koen
