Yes, sure: 1) You'll have to work with Oracle. :-/ 2) Stored procedure syntax will almost certainly be different. 3) DBAing Oracle is quite different from Informix. 4) I'm not sure if there's a one-to-one correlation of datatypes. 5) SQL syntax may differ subtly (don't think MATCHES works). 6) Also, what tool are you using? Multi-db tools generally have different bugs on different backends... :-( 7) You'll have to work with Oracle.
