Hi, I've got it! nettype for ips was onsoctcp, so when dbaccess tried to initialize ips database authentication failed (/etc/hosts.equiv was empty, no .rhosts!). So I changed onsoctcp to onipcshm and everything was ok. I would call this real security! Thank you all, Zdravko
