Anyone familiar with DBXten and other Barrodale products? Have any of their features been incorporated into IDS?
From BCS's web site: * Which databases can DBXten run on? * DBXten is already available for IBM Informix, Oracle, and PostgreSQL, and we are currently porting it to other well-known database systems. Hi Frank, Yes, both DBXten (for data series) and the Grid DataBlade (for gridded data) are available as Informix Dynamic Server DataBlades. See http://www.barrodale.com/bcs/white-papers for some recent performance results and http://www.barrodale.com/bcs/docs/DBXten_Programmer_Guide_IBM_Informix_Version.p df to download the Programmer's Guide. I don't know if you're going to be attending the IIUG 2010 conference in a couple of weeks, but if you are I'll be covering these two DataBlades in my talk ( http://www.iiug.org/conf/2010/iiug/sessabs10.php#159 ) Cheers,...
