Netscape Enterprise and ESQL miracle

Hi there, I have just developed several CGI's (on Netscape's Enterprise 3.01) written in C which should connect to Informix Dynamic Server 7.2x on Solaris 2.51. The DB-connection must be established via ESQL, and this seems to be a big problem! As soon as I link the ESQL libraries to my CGI and run it, I get the following error message: 'Server Error This server has encountered an internal error which prevents it from fulfilling your request. The most likely cause is a misconfiguration. Please ask the administrator to look for messages in the server's error log.' The error log tells me, that a valid CGI header cannot be created :-( If I run the CGI programm on the command line as netscape user, everything work fine! After not being able to solve the problem on the Enterprise server, I tried the same on an Apache which returned the same error message in my browser client, on the command line I got the following error message: 'ld.so.1: /export/htdocs/deutschland/cgi-bin/wilogin.cgi: fatal: libixsql.so: can't open file: errno=2 Killed' Please help: - Does anybody know how to tell the Enterprise server where to find the necessary libraries for ESQL C coded applications? - Does anybody know how to compile ESQL written C apllications in such a static way, that Informix libraries will not be needed by the web server at all (because the necessary libraries are already statically linked into the CGI application). Thanks in advance Dirk
