Informix does not allow you to access SE databases mounted on NFS drives except using I-Net. There are 2 reasons for this: 1. We cannot guarantee the data integrity because locking is not always reliable with NFS systems. 2. We supply I-Net to provide distributed access and we don't want you to avoid using it when you are doing distributed access. Fix: don't try using an NFS-mounted database. Alternative fix, copy the database from the remote to the local machine for testing purposes. Alternative fix: get an I-Net licence (or activate the one you already have).
