Input Array

In INFORMIX 4.1 Is there a way to suppress moving to the next row of an input array. Within my "next row" block, I do some validation checks. If something fails, I want to go back to the field that has the problem. Currently, my "next field" statement takes me to the correct field, but in the next row. Thanks a lot, in advance
If I remember correctly, the only way is to do the validation on the "after field". If you are forcing the route through the fields on a line with "next field", then you can save your validation until the last field, and then return to the offending field. Otherwise, validate each field, next fielding to itself if invalid, maybe resetting the value to a saved good value first? -- Ian Jones Ian.Jones@imij.co.uk http://www.imij.co.uk David Tucker <david@temss2.main.temple.edu> wrote in message news:7gq9ju$9pg$1@cronkite.ocis.temple.edu... > In INFORMIX 4.1 > > Is there a way to suppress moving to the next row of an input array. > > Within my "next row" block, I do some validation checks.
