HP K200 and Online 7

We are experiencing SEVERE performance problems trying to upgrade from Online 5 to Online 7. Online 7 runs about 400 percent slower than Online 5 up until +- 400 processes. (Confirmed by Informix S.A). Online 7 performance never degraded even when the load went above 400 processes where Online 5 showed a sharp degradation. Unfortunately for us, 400% slower is not acceptable. We are running an HP k200 (dual 100 mhz processors) with about 560 Mb Memory. We have about 260 users at any one time (i.e) Bums in the seat). The processors are not being over loaded, Memory is not being grabbed, there is virtually no swapping. Does the problem lie with Online 7.12 or with HP. Online 5 on the same machine smokes !!!!!. If there is ANYONE out there that can point us in the right direction, I would be etrnally gratefull. thanx Jose ---------------- RTT South Africa
