Import problems

Hi All I recently set up an Informix database server (DS version 7.30.UC5) on a linuxsystem. Now I received two dumps from one of our customers but I can't get the import working. I use dbimport and I alway get the same error : 329 database not found or no system permission The database is created , but that's all ... I ran dbimport as user root and as user informix. This message means that the database does not exist in your IDS instance!!
