VIEWPOINT PRO

Been using SQL and 4-GL for ages, but new to Viewpoint Pro. Seem to have some ignorance or limitations. Problem #1: After data entry completed on record, I want it to automatically insert some of the data in several other tables AND call up a related screen. (for example...new insurance policy. Policy info entered...want it to calculate expiration date based on info in policy table and enter into expiration table. Also want it to "pop up" downpayment info screen which will allow entry of info to A/R table. I know you can trigger SQL procedures and such...but for the LIFE of me don't see where. A breeze in 4-GL. I am running SE. Is that the problem? Problem #2: Want an expression field to show X if table entry is A and show Y if table entry is B. How do you effectively put this in an expression dialog? Those are today's dilemmas. Appreciate any input.
